

BREAKAWAY CAPITAL, LLC Breakaway Capital is a private investment firm based in Los Angeles, California. The firm looks to invest senior and mezzanine debt and equity capital in small and medium capitalization leveraged buyouts as well as growth and venture debt and equity capital in small and medium capitalization public and private companies. The firm seeks primarily investments in the following industry groups: retail and consumer products, real estate and leisure, industrial, media and professional sports franchises. Breakaway Capital is currently an investor in Forecheck Investments, LLC, which holds an approximately 30% ownership interest in the Nashville Predators Hockey Club of the National Hockey League. Breakaway Capital was founded in 2007 by Warren C. Woo, a 22-year veteran of investment banking at Moelis & Company (2007-08), UBS Investment Bank (2000-06), Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette (1990-2000) and Drexel Burnham Lambert (1986-90). Warren was a Founding Partner and Managing Director of Moelis & Company. At UBS Investment Bank, Warren was Vice Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors. He was also the Global Head of Financial Sponsors, Hedge Funds and Leveraged Finance. He was a member of a number of committees, including the Global Management Committee, the Global Human Resources Committee, the Executive Committee and the Global Credit Committee. Warren graduated from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1986 and graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from UCLA in 1982. Warren serves on the Board of Directors of the Nashville Predators Hockey Club and the West Valley Wolves, a youth travel hockey club. He was selected as the Tourette's Syndrome Association "Champion of Children" in 2003 and was a member of the Board of Trustees of Carlthorp School in Santa Monica, California for ten years.
